Rebekah’s journey to Kohler began in college. While working at a career fair, she connected with Kohler reps and the rest, as they say, is history. An entry-level training role in our hospitality business led to nearly two decades of opportunity with the Hospitality, Corporate Services, KOHLER fixtures and KOHLER faucets teams, as well as a year in Scotland.
But no matter where she goes, it’s the collaborative problem-solving nature of working in human resources that offers the real excitement.
“Gone is the era of the ‘personnel office’ and ‘pink slips.’ HR is not just pushing paper but partnering with businesses to collaborate on any people-based projects,” Rebekah explained.
Helping fellow associates (wherever the job takes her) grow in their roles and enhance the success of their teams remains Rebekah’s primary goal.
“I most enjoy those light-bulb moments when an associate learns a new skill, a manager leads a challenging conversation or a leader sees the value in an alternative approach,” she said. “It’s gratifying to me when associates or businesses try something new—and knowing that I had a hand in supporting and coaching them through that.”
