Ginger King serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kohler Co, leading all aspects of HR for Kohler’s global workforce of 40,000 associates, from recruitment and development to engagement and total rewards. Together with her team of HR experts, she is redefining leadership and talent practices to create an engaging and inclusive workplace environment, making Kohler a destination for the world’s best talent.
Ginger joined Kohler Co. in 2001 and progressed through human resources positions in Kitchen & Bath Americas. She also spent five years with Ariens Co. in the roles of Vice President – Human Resources and Group President – Ariens Specialty Brands, where she modernized the HR function and gained P&L leadership experience. Ginger returned to Kohler Co. in 2018 as Director – Corporate Human Resources and in 2019 was promoted to Vice President – Enterprise Human Resources, which expanded her scope to include multiple global HR teams. In 2021, Ginger became Vice President – Human Resources, Kitchen & Bath Group and in 2023, was appointed to Senior Vice President – Human Resources.
Ginger earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She is a graduate of the Wharton Executive Education’s Chief Human Resources Officer Program from the University of Pennsylvania.
