Stephen leads Kohler Hospitality with a vision to establish it as a truly unique and premier luxury lifestyle destination. With a wealth of hospitality management experience, exceptional leadership, and an unwavering commitment to service, Stephen guides the team in pursuit of ongoing excellence.

Stephen officially returns to Kohler after a previous tenure when he led the opening of Riverbend in 2001. As General Manager and then Vice President – Lodging, he oversaw all Kohler lodging properties. After a decade with Kohler, Stephen continued to develop his industry acumen as the Vice President – Hospitality at Victor International and as Chief Executive Officer at The Resort at Paws Up.  He has also taught Hospitality Management Programs at Post Graduate Level and managed a private family residence.

Stephen rejoined Kohler in May 2024 as a consultant for our Riverbend team. He then expanded his role to include Food and Beverage and responsibility for training and development of associates across lodging properties in Kohler, WI.

Stephen is a Certified Wine Educator, Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner (6-Seconds), and a Certified MBTI Practitioner (Psychometrics, Canada).
