The KDI engine garnered excitement around the world when it was first launched. It’s popularity only grew when our engineers took the engine to the next level by attacking emissions with KOHLER Flex. At the heart of the direct injection KOHLER Flex engine is clean combustion and a state-of-the-art platform that can be adjusted to meet current and future emission standards, while maintaining its powerful performance. Launched in 2017, each combination of KOHLER Flex has been designed to be compatible with all emissions regulations, including the new Stage V standards.
