Destination Kohler chefs host the community.

For the past six years Destination Kohler associates have sponsored Harvest for the Hungry, a community meal serving more than 7,000 community residents and raising more than $100,000 for the local United Way.

“It’s nice to get all the chefs together to serve the community as well as to see the community get involved to provide something great for United Way,” said Destination Kohler Chef Matthew Bauer.

With donated ingredients, Kohler chefs prepare a spread of fall-themed foods to kick off the harvest season. The 2017 offering featured squash and roasted mushroom soup, spinach and endive salad, braised beef short ribs, beer-braised Cornish game hen, assorted desserts and more.
