COMPLIANCE AND ACTING WITH INTEGRITY: EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY

Compliance is a shared commitment across the Company. Regardless of role or location, you have a responsibility to raise issues that violate the Code. Managers play a critical role in setting the tone for their teams—teams often turn to their managers for guidance, expectations, and support when questions arise. The Company expects managers to lead by example and send a strong message of high-integrity conduct, provide support to associates when questions about this Code arise, encourage associates to speak up, and promptly address misconduct. 

HIGH-INTEGRITY DECISION-MAKING 

This Code is not intended to address every law, regulation, policy, or circumstance involving ethical conduct. You must use good judgment in making decisions about appropriate conduct. You are not expected to know how to handle every situation, so when you are faced with a decision and unsure what to do, think about these questions:

  • Is this legal? 
  • Is this consistent with Kohler Co.’s Code and policies?
  • Does this reinforce Kohler Co.’s reputation as a high-integrity company?
  • How would this look to others within Kohler Co. and externally?
