Ladies, start your engines.

Francesca Rinaldi, KOHLER Power – Junior Project Engineer, Reggio Emilia, Italy

As a young woman in engineering, Francesca Rinaldi is speeding through gender barriers left and right, setting an example for those around her.

“I’m very proud of my job, and I’m passionate about sharing my experiences with others,” she explained. “I don’t give up on problems, and I work hard to reach my goals.”

What started as a mechanical engineering internship has turned into a rewarding career for Francesca, a junior project engineer. As part of our KOHLER® diesel engines research and development team, she spends her days analyzing components and verifying configurations to improve engine performance.

The best part of her job? According to Francesca, it’s the variety. Both the diversity of her work—from product prototypes to mass production—and, of course, her colleagues.

“My work is very dynamic, always different, and allows me to collaborate with many people,” she continued. “We are a team composed of young people, but we are very collaborative and connected by motivation. And, Kohler is a company that invests in young people and their growth.”
