After you accept your offer, we'll send you periodic updates about the projects, people and logistics of your summer so you’ll be ready to hit the ground running.
Your internship will start with a big “Kohler welcome,” including tours of campus, networking with fellow interns and leaders and info sessions to set you up for a summer of success.
For the rest of the summer, you’ll dive into meaningful projects within your function and attend weekly sessions to help you get to know the business, its leaders and the impact we have.
Throughout the summer, you’ll continue to learn and grow through networking opportunities, personal mentorship, volunteer opportunities, wellbeing sessions and more.
We hate saying goodbye! At the end of the summer, you’ll have the opportunity to be recommended for a return internship or placement into our Leadership Development Program—and potentially get an offer before you leave.
The majority of summer internships take place in Kohler, WI and it is expected that interns will come to the office 2-3 days a week. Some interns may be placed in other locations across the US, depending on the program. We do not provide remote internship opportunities.
All internships are paid opportunities, and for applicants not local to the Kohler, WI, area or their placement area, moving stipends are available to assist with relocation. While we do not provide housing, we can help recommend places to stay and connect you with other interns who may also be looking for summer housing.
We’re looking for our interns to have opportunities to become the future of Kohler. Based on various factors, at the end of the summer your manager will recommend what should happen next. You may be offered a return internship (if you are a rising Sophomore or Junior) or a full-time position on a team or in our Leadership Development Program (if you are a rising Senior).
We know you don’t want to spend your summer changing light bulbs or taking coffee orders. At Kohler, we create our internships based on the real needs of our business—meaning that the projects you’ll be working on are important for our company and tailor-made for our interns.
Shape it. Iterate. Take a risk and find your path. If you can design it, you can become it at Kohler.
